Heavy-Duty Hitch Security
The Bulldog AV Avonride / Knott Hitch Lock is manufactured from 3mm heavy-duty steel, creating a strong physical barrier around the hitch assembly.

When fitted, it encloses the hitch head and its fixings to restrict access to important components, while the bright red powder-coated finish provides a highly visible theft deterrent.
Hitched or Unhitched Protection

The Bulldog AV provides flexible security and can be used:
• While the trailer or caravan is hitched
• While the trailer or caravan is unhitched
• With a compatible Bulldog Lock Post
This makes it suitable for regular touring, campsite use, home storage and longer periods when your trailer or caravan is left unattended.

Ball Socket Retention
The AV features ball socket retention, providing an additional physical layer of security around the coupling.
This works alongside the heavy-duty steel construction to help restrict unauthorised use of the hitch.

Dummy Ball Protection
A dummy ball is supplied with the Bulldog AV to restrict access to the towing point when the trailer or caravan is unhitched.
This helps prevent an unauthorised vehicle from simply connecting to the hitch and towing the trailer or caravan away.
